BEST OF 2025

Continuing on the best of 2025, wrestling played a huge part of my year. And in April, there was a show in Japan’s all-women promotion, Stardom, called All Star Dream Queendom. The main event of that show was between Tam Nakano and Saya Kamitani, two former friends who became blood rivals. This match was a career vs career match, with the loser leaving wrestling.

This match was pure art from top to bottom and I can still watch that match and get chills. From the opening entrances to the final curtain closing, this was spectacular. Whenever I am faced with doubts of the artistry of pro wrestling, I use this match as the possibility for what the sport can be.
