Every week in 2025, I went to a new coffee shop to find the one that rocked my world. There was one that truly stood out among the rest, and that was Chateau Le Woof in Astoria, Queens. It is a dog-friendly cafe right across the street from a stunning park right along the river.

The vibe was amazing to work in and you could soak up the sun during the warm months or get cozy with puppies in the colder months. However, the most important thing about a coffee shop is the coffee. The drink that solidified my feelings about this place was a drink that was simply espresso and coconut water. It sounds simple and unimpressive, but it was truly one of the most refreshing drinks I’ve ever had.

So please, if you ever find yourself in Astoria, visit this lovely cafe because it will be a highlight of your stay or you’ll be opened up to a gem if you already live there.
